Meeting Information

Currently NFMUG holds meetings twice a month to serve the people of Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding area who are interested in Apple Computers and all things Macintosh. NFMUG meetings are open to everyone from novice to pro. We try to tailor our meetings so there is something for everyone. Visitors and NFMUG members alike are welcome to attend. We meet twice a month on second Wednesday and the fourth Saturday at the Deerwood Center campus of Florida State College Jacksonville near the intersection of Southside and Old Baymeadows Road.

Main Meeting – Second Wednesday

The main monthly meeting, the more formal of the two, is held on the second Wednesday of each month. Our meeting starts at 6:00 PM general question and answer session where members and guests are encouraged to share that mac-related questions and concerns. Our general meeting will feature presentations on various topics of interest to Macintosh enthusiasts.

Meeting II – Fourth Saturday

The second NFMUG meeting is the less formal of the two and held on the fourth Saturday of each month starting at 1:00 p.m. Our second meeting is also held at FSCJ Deerwood Center. This meeting is actually two events occurring simultaneously:

• An informal get-together with no set meeting structure. Members are encouraged to bring their computers and/or questions. Any demos presented will be largely spontaneous.
• We also conduct a Mac 101 Training Course where new Macintosh users can learn some of the basics of using their computer.

So jot down your questions and come on out to see what other Macintosh users are doing with their new investment. Attend a meeting before you decide to join or become a member right away. Either way we’re looking forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
